This product is the best thing since sliced bread. I love it. I have never come across the idea of using coconut oil as a beauty product before and I cannot understand why. It is a gift from the gods. It has so many uses I find myself spreading lashings of it all over me from head to toe - it nourishes hair, moisturises skin, removes even waterproof make up and you can even use it as a deodorant...*breathes into a paper bag*.
Coconut oil is ideal for removing make up - unlike any other make up remover I've used (even the ones claiming to be 'gentle') this doesn't hurt my eyes and is really good for your eye lashes - mascara dries out your eyelashes and so the nourishing qualities of the coconut oil are perfect to keep your lashes lush and hydrated. It also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties - perfect!
The coconut oil is a solid when it's below 80 degrees and turns to a liquid to the touch or when heated. It's sort of the same texture as a lip balm which, (surprise surprise) is another use for this pot of perfection. Oh, and it smells freakin' amazing!
So you won't be shocked to hear me say that I recommend this product. What are you waiting for? Go get your hands on some!
