Before you ask, no the colour co-ordination of this post was not intentional, (I'm not that OCD). These are just the colours that my eyes have been drawn to this summer - whites, dusty pinks, pale blues, that sort of thing. And at the risk of sounding like a complete idiot, I have to say that these colours are a little out of my comfort zone. My wardrobe through autumn and winter has just been filled with jeans, black, white, and stripes, and so a touch of soft colour is a bit of a shock to the system. I figured the best way to inject colour to my wardrobe (without breaking the bank) was to use accessories - here I've chosen a summer-y take on an oversized floppy hat, and a small, structured cross-body bag. I love the simplicity and touch of glam these pieces seem to have.
I've been wanting more cami tops to soften up the grunge-y wardrobe I seem to have acquired and this one from Topshop is perfect. As for the sliders - I've finally climbed aboard the ugly shoe band wagon! These Birkenstock dupes will be perfect for teaming with t-shirt dresses, jeans and bikinis.
Last but by no means least (or cheapest) is my beloved Daniel Wellington - I have wanted this watch for so long that I feel like I already own it. But now I finally have the spare funds to pay for it and it WILL be mine. *Cackles hysterically*
I really wanna get a floppy hat but I don't know if I have the confidence to pull it off! It would look lovely worn throughout the year which I really like about it. I love the peplum cami you have included too! x
