THE ENDANGERED SPECIES OF THE PRINTED PHOTOS

I haven't printed photos in such a long time, and with things like Instagram, people don't need photo albums to store all of their photos anymore. Saying that, I'm much more likely to look at a photo I took '53w' ago if it's printed, rather than hiding somewhere in my Instagram account.

Recently, I've seen a lot of companies trying to use Instagram as a way of getting people to print photos, instead of seeing it as an obstacle. So I gave Boots a miss, and after quite a bit of research, I tried out Polagram. This particular company gives you a few different size options (inc. 'polaroid') as well as the option to make posters, photobooks, calendars and iPhone cases (from gen 4 to 6). There are loads of other companies that offer similar kinds of products, but having tried this one, I can vouch that delivery is really quick and the quality is really nice.

Once you have your photos though, it can be tricky finding things to do with them so that you don't forget about them; so here are a few of my ideas:
- Collage
- Scrap book
- Wall grid
- Peg line (DIY tutorial here)
- Table-top collage/grid

I hope this has inspired you to print out more of your photos. Let me know if you still get your photos printed, or if you've tried any of these companies that use your Instagram account.
