MIXTAPE VOL. 3

As a gentle push into the idea of transitioning into autumn, I thought I'd bring down the tempo and make a little acoustic vibes mixtape this time. Now that I'm back at college (*sad face*), I've been sticking this playlist on in the background whilst I do my work and it really focusses me.

My favourite from this mixtape is by far the Beyonce, Halo cover. It's just so beautiful and whilst nothing beats the live version from the I Am...World Tour album (which is flipping goose-bump-inducing), it's pretty damn good. Everything about this cover is gorgeous! Another favourite on this mixtape is Fare Thee Well, which brings me close to tears every time I listen to it (anyone who has seen the film it was recently featured in, Inside Llewyn Davis, will understand where I'm coming from - love that film). As a long time fan of Fyfe, I was so chuffed when he brought out the recent acoustic album because that man knows how to do acoustic music incredibly! Solace has always been a particular favourite of mine and it's even more beautiful in this acoustic version.

As always, leave your current favourite songs in the comments below, I'm always up for finding new music.

Enjoy!
