QUICK MANICURE

January is a month when money is a little tight, but that doesn't mean you can't treat yourself to a manicure! Home manicures are so achievable and are a great pick me up, (as well as a nice opportunity to sneak away from the real world and take half an hour to yourself).

Prep your nails // Cut and file your nails. Apply cuticle cream and push them down. Finish by applying a hand and nail treatment. I love the Clarins one, it's really moisturising and smells really nice.

Get painting // Apply a bottom coat to really make your manicure last. I used the Sally Hansen Double Duty. Then I applied a nice Spring-like colour, I chose Essie's Maximillian Strasse Her. After 2 coats, apply a quick dry top coat. My favourite is the Mavala Mavadry.

So there you have it, a quick home manicure that isn't going to break the bank but is guaranteed to put you in a better mood.
