THE PERFECT SHAVE

It's summer and the legs are out! Winter is over and you can no longer get away with skipping on shaving your legs. Hopefully this little guide will give you the silky legs you're after this summer and give you a little bit of a leg-confidence boost.

PREP
In order to get a closer shave, it's important to exfoliate and buff away any dead skin. I use the Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Scrub, it smells amazing and it does an incredible job at smoothing out skin. I advise doing this the day before to avoid any unnecessary irritation.

IN SHOWER
Once you're in the shower, you should make shaving the last thing you do so that the hairs are softer. I love to apply L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil before I shave - it leaves my skin so silky! It's important that you apply something that is moisturising and won't dry out your skin, so avoid anything containing alcohol. It's also important to use a good, sharp razor. Buying razors can be expensive so it's best to look out for offers. Before I get out of the shower, I like to apply a body conditioner. I love the Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser - it's so affordable and it leaves skin feeling so soft.

AFTERMATH
If you prefer to use a more conventional moisturiser when you're out of the shower, I recommend the Soap & Glory Righteous Butter - it smells incredible and sinks in really quickly, making it great for summer when you don't want to be spending a lot of time getting ready.

If you have any more tips for a perfect shave, leave them in the comments below.
