NETFLIX PICKS

We've all been there. Spending way too long searching for something to watch and either giving up, watching something you didn't really fancy, or just rewatching OITNB for the 100th time. I find it's really difficult to tell the quality stuff from the weak stuff, so I've compiled a little help sheet to guide you in the right virtual direction no matter what mood you're in.

If you're feeling uninspired: Eat, Pray, Love
A classic but a perfect classic for when you're feeling a bit lost and down in the dumps. An ideal one to watch if you're feeling the winter blues.

If you want a good scare: Insidious Chapter 2
This is probably one of the best sequels I've ever seen. It's always expected that when you watch a horror film, it might be scary, but the plot will be terrible, but in this one it is brilliant. The first film was good, but the sequel just brought the two together perfectly and made it into an amazing plot whilst still keeping it creepy and jumpy. I definitely recommend watching both.

If you're in the mood for a quality rom com: Maid in Manhattan
Another classic but I absolutely love this one. J Lo, woman power, and romance all rolled into one. What's not to love?

If you want to start a new TV series: Suits
Suits has been around for a while now but it's a brilliant series to get into. Based around a man with a 'complicated' past, trying to make it in a 'complicated' law firm, it's got fairly serious story lines and romance, with comedy and plenty of eye candy. Google will be your best friend when it comes to all the law-lingo but this is definitely one of those series' where you just have to watch 'one more episode'.

If you need a good old cry: Friends With Kids
We all have moments in the month our lives where we just need to get those tears out of our system, and I always feel like a good chick flick is the best way to do it. Friends With Kids will have you so emotionally invested but keep your spirits up with plenty of comedy.

What have you been watching on Netflix recently?
