HOW TO KEEP MOTIVATED TO WORKOUT


You've made it to the end of the month! Congratulations to everybody who made a change to their lives this month, even if it was just drinking a little bit more water, or just buying yourself some workout gear. But the next bit is the hardest. It's really difficult to persevere with your workouts so here are my top tips to help you through.

01. Set a goal for yourself
Whether it's to lose a certain amount of weight or to be able to lift  a certain amount of weight, set yourself an end goal. That way you can see a light at the end of the tunnel and a final target to reach.

02. Make it difficult to not do it
If you work out in the morning, prep your gear the night before and put your phone/alarm clock at the other side of the room. Then you physically have to get out of bed and by the time you've got up you may as well put on your workout clothes and get doing something.

03. Find a way of making it fun
Whether that's listening to my playlist or making your own, or working out with your friends, find a way of making exercise something that you look forward to.

  1. I definitely needed to read this post! I'm back at the gym tomorrow after a little break but already dreading it, so going to get my stuff packed and ready & make a fun playlist as you suggested :)

  2. great ideas! preparing things the night before is definitely the way to go, if i pack my gym bag before i go to sleep all i need to do is remember to pick it up on the way out of the door! x
