FEEL-GOOD SMOOTHIE RECIPES

We're coming to the end of #AllThingsFitness month now, and it's about time we had a little bit of fun. Spring/Summer is the best time of year for smoothies - there's good fruit in the supermarkets and we all want to start swapping out the comfort food for something fresh, and smoothies are a great way of getting that fresh boost.

These are two recipes that you can have fun with and really turn into your own creations - all you need is a blender and a bunch of fruits and vegetables.

Avocado smoothie
This one tastes a lot better than it sounds. Trust me. It's really simple and so it's super easy to switch up the ingredients and add whatever you like.
Ingredients: A cup of almond milk (or any milk you like) | a half or a whole banana | an avocado | a handful of spinach leaves | ice

Berry smoothie
The base of this is basically all of the igredients apart from the frozen berries - if you don't like berries, you can just swap them for your favourite fruit.
Ingredients: A cup of almond milk (or any milk you like) | a spoon of plain yoghurt | a half or a whole banana | a handful of nuts | a handful of oats | 1/2 tbsp of chia seeds | a squeeze of lime juice | frozen berries

Once you've blended all of the ingredients together, all you need is a Pinterest-worthy cup and a cute straw! I love the ones from Prarie Charms, especially the floral ones.

So grab a friend and spread some positive smoothie energy in the new season. Have fun!

Send me pictures of your smoothie creations on Twitter using the hashtag #AllThingsFitness :)
