5 WAYS TO DRINK MORE WATER

Everybody tells us to drink more water. And they're right, water is great at improving your skin and can actually help control calories. But we all know that drinking water can be a little bit boring, so here are my top tips to help you drink more.

Set a goal per day
Things become a lot easier when there's a light at the end of the tunnel. If you can physically see how much water you want to drink, and how much you have drunk throughout the day, it becomes less daunting and much more manageable.

Add it to your daily routine
If drinking water becomes part of your daily routine, you will end up drinking more of it. Try drinking a glass of water when you wake up and another glass before you go to bed, and then having a glass with every meal. You can then find time to drink the rest between these times. And of course, always have lots of water with you when you're working out.

Pick a cute water bottle
This sounds so silly but if you have a cute cup or bottle (or even a mason jar if you're feeling very Pinterest) you are more likely to want to drink the water. Always keep this bottle with you!

Use a straw
Another thing you can do is use a straw, as it will make you drink the water quicker. I love those thick plastic cups that have a lid and a straw - I got mine from Morrisons for only a couple of pounds.

Make it taste good
If you want to drink more, you have to actually want to drink the water, and we all know that it can get a little boring. Try adding just lemon or lime, or make it a little more interesting by adding mint or ginger to your citrus. You can really play with mixing different fruits with this (frozen fruit works really well as they also act like ice cubes).

How do you make water fun? Let me know in the comments below, or on twitter with the hashtag #AllThingsFitness.
