YOU'LL NEED:
strong clothes hangers / strong wall nails / hammer / pencil
When you buy your clothes hangers, you want to make sure that they are strong enough to hold your magazines and aren't going to bend - the ones I've linked above are the ones that I used and they work really well.
Firstly, decide whether you want to customize your hangers or leave them with the plain metal exposed. You could try dipping the hooks of the hangers in paint (try this tutorial).
Next, you want to figure out where you want them on your wall and how many you want. I just put 2 up (one above the other) above my filing cabinet and that seemed to fit really well in the space I had, so try holding up some hangers to see what looks best. Use a pencil and something straight to mark out where you need to put your nails so that the hangers hang in one straight line.
Knock your nails into the wall at a downwards angle and then put up your favourite magazines - make sure that your magazines aren't too heavy for your nails so that you don't get massive chunks of plaster gouged out of your walls.
Let me know if you've tried this DIY, or if you're planning on trying it in the future, in the comments section below. Have fun and send me pics on Twitter!
