MIXTAPE VOL. 2

It's mixtape time again! I wanted to post another summer vibe-y mixtape before the British autumn season kicks in and I'm really excited about this one. I've been discovering so many new artists recently and have also seen a lot of new stuff from some artists that I've loved for ages.
A couple of new artists for me are Anne-Marie and Rationale. Anne-Marie has very recenly released her first EP (Karate EP) and it is brilliant, she's creating some really awesome unique music and I can't wait to hear more from her. Rationale is another new discovery for me under the recommendation of Mitch Grassi (definitely check him out, he regularly recommends all kinds of amazing songs I would never have heard of otherwise) and it is just gorgeous - incredible vocals and beautifully produced. Billie Black, who I have supported for a long time, has been releasing a lot of new music recently, and amongst that music was this gem of a song (This Simple Pleasure) - it's the perfect summer driving song, it's so vibey and scattered with some really cool, unexpected samples. Last but not least, I have to talk about good old Dornik. I have followed Dornik since the beginning when he uploaded his first song onto Soundcloud and finally he has released his first album (Dornik), and unsurprisingly, it's genius. I really recommend listening to the whole album, I cannot fault it at all - it's just so chill but so carefully put together, especially with Dornik's Michael Jackson-esque vocals added into the mix.
