KEEPING YOUR COOL

Boy has it been warm in the UK this summer! It has been unbelievably warm compared to our usual summer climate and whilst I'm not complaining, at times it can get a little overbearing, particularly if you're not prepared for it. I get really grumpy if my body is not at its optimum temperature - in other words, if I'm too hot or cold, you do not want to be around me. So naturally, I put together my own little edit of products to keep you cool.

Mitchum Deodorant
Boots - £2
A good place to start is deodorant. Apply some in the morning and it should last all day. I've been using Mitchum deodorants for a long time (as you can tell from the old packaging) and I would whole heartedly recommend their products to anyone - they do sticks and sprays in various scents so there's something for everyone.

Anatomicals Spray
Asos - £6
This is a new discovery for me, but I have been loving it. This spray gives me an instant refreshing boost. Not only is the spray cooling, it has lots of refreshing scents such as aloe and witch hazel. It also comes with a really secure cap, so it's perfect for throwing into your bag and taking on the go.

The Body Shop Eye Mask
The Body Shop - £6
This is another classic within my bathroom - I've had this mask for a while and the point is that you can use it warm or cold. For a cold refresh, you place it in the fridge for an hour before you want to use it. But whilst this makes it super cool, I also find that if it's just left out of the fridge it's still quite cold and refreshing. I used to use this when my eyes were feeling a bit tired from a late night or just staring at my computer screen for too long, and with just 5 minutes of this mask on my eyes, I felt a huge difference. Love. This. Mask.

Leave your cooling tips in the comments below - hope the sun is shining wherever you are!
